The UNIX stuff is free, and very simple to use.

Studying other questions here on SO, I think there is no way to produce a single EXE that includes the JRE. How can I automate the generation of the standalone executable in maven? I want a single exe if possible. The problem is, I want to export a single executable for my application which also embeds the necessary JRE in itself (so there would be no need to have a JRE installed on the target machine). It also created the jar file in /target directory.
The project actually compiles and packages just fine. I've imported the maven project in Eclipse. You might wonder why you’d use FTP to share files when you can use Personal File Sharing or Windows File Sharing. I'm following the tutorial here and using openjdk 11.0.2 and javafx-sdk-11.0.2. Mac OS X Snow Leopard comes with an FTP server built in, so you just have to activate it.
